Ratanakiri

Ratanakiri is situated on the northeast plateau, 522 Km from Phnom Penh. It is bordering Vietnam on the east, Laos, There are two rivers crossing the Steung Treng province and Mondul Kiri province. Nowadays if you would like to go with the bus (around $12) about 9 hours and province taxi (around $70) about 8 hours. The word Ratanakiri is derived from two Sanskrit words and means mountain of gems.
